The slab (10) has a stoneware based upper decorative layer (11) fixed on a concrete lower support layer (12) by latex based adhesive intermediate layer. The lower support layer is realized by hydraulic cement based construction material, where the hydraulic cement has quartz based adhesive cement. The adhesive intermediate layer is arranged between the upper decorative layer and the support layer. Rigid reinforcement is downed in the support layer. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a decorative slab.
