A beach safe, or container for valuables comprising a secure box (B) lockable with a key or keypad (E), to be secured to the upright portion (A) of a permanent sunshade or parasol by mechanical means in the form of a "U" bolt (C) or a centrally fitted bolt wherein both options would be secured within the box. In use, the enclosure enables a safe and secure enclosure to enable beach users to undertake activities in the knowledge that their possessions are lock securely. The enclosure may further comprise a bag hook beneath the unit and which may be secured inside the unit.
