PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel information guide system and a travel information guide method, for distributing travel guide information corresponding to an operation condition of transportation, to a mobile terminal of a user.;SOLUTION: When a mobile terminal 2b is turned on after power-off is detected, position information immediately before power-OFF and position information at power-ON are compared, and the time elapsed from power-OFF to power-ON is calculated, on the basis of position information and a power supply state of a mobile terminal 2a.
