PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the memory size and the circuit size, in a system for calculating two-dimensional texture coordinates in a computer system.;SOLUTION: A two-dimensional texture coordinates (u, v) are acquired. by using the coordinate of u and v, two one-dimensional intervals of two random values are generated. The two one-dimensional intervals of the random values are combined, to generate one two-dimensional interval of four random values; random values are generated corresponding to the texture coordinates (u, v) and the two-dimensional interval of the four random values.
