PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface modifying agent for nanoparticles which prevents coagulation of the nanoparticles and also gives functionality, and to provide gold nanoparticles, and a manufacturing method of the surface modifying agent of the nanoparticles.;SOLUTION: First hydroxy fatty acid is amide-coupled with cysteamide to form into thiol. The thiol compound is ester-coupled by means of the first hydroxy fatty acid or second hydroxy fatty acid different from the first hydroxy fatty acid. A dendritic molecule having a surface densely covered with a highly hydrophilic hydroxyl group and having a structure in which highly hydrophobic alkyl chains are scarcely arranged is generated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
