METHOD FOR PROVIDING COST MANAGEMENT OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN TASKS HAVING DEPENDENT RELATION IN PROJECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems of a Gantt chart task in a conventional project management application: there are restrictions on dependent relation of execution order, the cost of communication to be performed by a person in charge of operation of a related task cannot be actually expressed only by the dependent relation, and display and calculate the communication costs using a bar chart as manhour required for the task, which is required from the viewpoint of accuracy and effectiveness of project management.;SOLUTION: An overlap in a bar chart indicating communication costs are formed on tasks having dependent relation of the execution order, an arrow indicating the relation between the tasks is displayed as well, and the overlap can be calculated as the manhour of the tasks.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
