DEVICE AND METHOD OF ESTIMATING RADIO WAVE PROPAGATION PARAMETER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave propagation parameter estimating device which is high in accuracy and resolution, applicable to an array antenna in an arbitrary, and estimates a plurality of radio wave propagation parameters altogether.;SOLUTION: The radio wave propagation parameter estimating device includes at least a propagation parameter rough estimation part, a cluster detection part, a search parameter determination part, an interpolation array configuration part, a propagation parameter detailed estimation part, a parameter matching part, and a complex amplitude detailed estimation part. The radio wave propagation parameter estimating device approximates a mode vector of an antenna in an arbitrary shape to the linear transformation of the mode vector of an ULA antenna for each cluster. A transformation matrix G is obtained so as to minimize an error in the range of a change radiation azimuth angle or a change arrival angle. Then, using a Root-MUSIC method, the mode vector of a radiation azimuth angle and the mode vector for the arrival angle are obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
