PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method, allowing prevention of failure occurring by resource shortage of an application server without imposing a burden on a developer of an upper service.SOLUTION: This system includes: a resource monitoring means monitoring a resource of the system; a setting file setting an interrupt position to a program of the upper service as a joint point; an intercepter means executing interrupt processing; and a calling means deciding whether execution target processing inside the program of the upper service to be executed is the joint point by referring to the setting file, and calling the intercepter means when a decision result indicates the joint point. The intercepter means inquires a state of the resource of the system from the resource monitoring means, and controls the execution target processing based on an inquiry result thereof.
