PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven pile fabric capable of easily forming optimal brush fibers in a base texture depending on sizes and adhesion conditions of foreign materials on an object to be washed, and a method for producing the same.;SOLUTION: A method for producing the woven pile fabric which forms two upper and lower plies of the woven pile fabrics includes forming the upper ply by inserting upper ply weft yarns among a plurality of upper ply warp yarns and a plurality of pile warp yarns, while forming the lower ply by inserting lower ply weft yarns among a plurality of lower ply warp yarns and the plurality of pile warp yarns, weaving a double woven pile fabric by spanning the plurality of the pile warp yarns between the upper and lower plies and cutting the plurality of pile yarns of the double woven pile fabric between the upper and lower plies. In the method, the double woven pile fabric is woven in a state in which the tension of the plurality of the pile warp yarns are individually adjusted in a predetermined variable range depending on stretchability of each of the pile warp yarns.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
