PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water sealing structure of a steel pipe pile foundation which can enhance construction performance by preventing the leakage of artesian water, and a method for constructing the steel pipe pile foundation.;SOLUTION: When the artesian water W ascends in a pile body by making a pile end reach a stratum in which the artesian water W is stored, a float 15 can automatically close a vent hole 11 by a rubber ball 13 by floating up by the buoyancy of the artesian water W. Thus, the water can be sealed by inhibiting the ascent of the artesian water W, and construction performance can be enhanced by preventing the leakage of the water to a ground surface. Additionally, a metal cage 18 connected to the float 15 can be hooked and manually pulled up to bring about a closed state of the rubber ball 13 firm, and enhance water sealing performance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
