This invention regards the method of preventing the multiplication of the microbe in the water flow which includes the step which applies the composition of this invention to the composition, and the flow which include Pell oxy acetic acid and Pell oxy octanoic acid. As for the aforementioned composition and method, it is possible to control the multiplication of the microbe in the water flow which is used for transporting or processing the food.
