PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an oil-extended rubber that can be friendly to the environment and prepare for the decrease of petroleum resources supply, and is further excellent in strength since it is free from the cutting of molecular chain, and to provide an oil-extended rubber obtained by using the method, and a tire using the oil-extended rubber. PSOLUTION: The method for producing an oil-extended rubber comprises (a) a process of preparing an oil-in-water type emulsion by emulsifying a vegetable oil having an iodine value of not less than 135 with a surfactant, (b) a process of mixing the emulsion and a modified natural rubber latex, and then aging the mixture, and (c) a process of obtaining a lump of a rubber by coagulating the mixture obtained in the process (b). The extended rubber is obtained by the method, and the rubber composition for tire and the tire is obtained by using the oil-extended rubber. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
