PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of creating characters employing a golden ratio, to provide the characters, and to provide a character creation paper. PSOLUTION: The method of creating the characters includes the steps of: displaying a division line for dividing a golden rectangle with golden aspect ratio into squares and golden rectangles; displaying the division line for dividing the golden rectangle into the squares and the golden rectangles in the divided golden rectangle; and creating characters with all or part of contour lines and division lines of the golden rectangles and the squares which are formed by repeating the division the number of times desired. Some division lines can be extended into the square or the golden rectangle adjacent to the dividing golden rectangle, while some division lines can be displayed to the middle of the dividing golden rectangle, and straight or curved lines can be displayed in addition to the division line in the golden rectangle, thereby creating the characters with all or part of the golden rectangles and squares.
