PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a sound volume without having effects on frequency characteristics of reproduced sound.;SOLUTION: An optical wireless receiver includes: a light receiving section for receiving a sound digital optical signal (pulse compression wave) resulting from applying 1-bit quantization processing to a sound analog signal and being transmitted; a filter circuit for converting the 1-bit quantization signal photoelectric-converted by the light receiving section into a sound analog signal; and a speaker for transducing the sound analog signal into sound, is provided with: a sound volume setting section for setting a sound volume setting signal for setting a sound volume of the speaker; and a pulse amplitude adjustment section for adjusting the pulse amplitude of the 1-bit quantization signal output from the light receiving section in response to the sound volume setting signal and outputting the adjusted result to the filter circuit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
