A model of geological properties in the volume of the geological environment is created by distributing many points in the volume in the absence of a grid. Each point has a position. The first vector is assigned to the first point of the set of points. The first vector has a length, modulus and direction obtained from a geological property in the vicinity of the position of the first point. The module of the first vector indicates the value of the geological property near the first point. The direction of the first vector indicates the direction of maximum continuity. The direction of maximum continuity is the direction in volume along which the modulus of the geological property remains essentially the same when moving the greatest distance from the first point. The length of the first vector represents the distance in volume from the first point in the direction of the first vector, in which the modulus and direction of maximum continuity of the geological property remain essentially the same.
