Method for evaluation of cavitation-erosive stability of thermo-diffusive carbide coatings in electrolytes is based on evaluation of durability of those by rate of destruction of carbide zone of coating. In medium-electrolyte in parallel to determination of rate of destruction of carbide zone with potentiostate one measures the dependence potential cavitation time, this serves for adjustment of durability of coating.
