METHOD FOR PREDICTING CASTING DEFECT 'BURNING-IN'

A method for predicting the casting defects provides for counting the available attributes. One predictive hypothesis is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively with the aid of computer program completely and independently of other hypotheses. The quantitative analysis is performed with the aid of special equipment. Afterwards, all attributes pertinent to the predictive hypothesis including individual attributes that are specific to the predictive hypothesis are considered.
