PREVENTIVE THERAPEUTIC METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLED MECHANICAL MASSAGE OF PROSTATA GLAND AND RECTAL MUSCLES

The invention relates to medicine, in particular to prophylactic physiotherapeutic care of prostata gland and rectal muscles. A preventive therapeutic method for controlled mechanical massage of prostata gland and rectal muscles involves screening of sizes, position and state of prostata gland and rectal muscles followed by massage. The massage is carried out in three steps. First step consists in effect of mechanical controlled shock-free vibrations on peripheral muscles of prostata gland for relaxation of muscles. Second step is in effect of controlled oscillating shock-free loads on prostata gland directly, or effect of controlled rotational motions with limited load on prostata gland. Third step is in effect of localized massage of most affected zones of prostata gland and peripheral muscles. A device for realization of the preventive therapeutic method for controlled mechanical massage of prostata gland and rectal muscles comprises a device for conversion of energy, adapter and massage attachment. The device for energy conversion is a reversible programmed motor with reducer, those are built in a handle, and at least three removable attachments are kinematically connected to the motor depending on therapy regimen. First attachment comprises a vibration generator at one side connected to the reducer shaft by means of flexible axle, and at other side to the attachment tip by means of second axle. Second attachment comprises a pinion for conversion of rotational motion to reciprocating motion and at one side is connected by means of spring mechanism to the attachment tip, which produce oscillating motions within the range of 0-90°, and at other side is connected to the reducer shaft by means of flexible axle. Third attachment is connected to the reducer shaft by means of flexible axle and provided with protective section which covers part of the device handle and restricts angle of attachment rotation within the range of 0-60°, this is adjusted by selection of the protective section diameter.
