The invention relates to cavitating heat generators and to installations for mixing, dispersion, purification of substances and for hydraulic hydro-break of bed at mineral development. A thermal cavitating converter has a rotor with centrifugal closed wheels installed on the shaft and semi-open cavitating wheels, guide vanes, sections of the body, suction and disrcharge covers with holders of support units. The cavitating wheels have perforated with conical-cylindrical nozzles disc with radial blades that are surrounded with cylindrical perforated rim. The guide vane of cavitating stage has perforation in inter-vane zone. Perforated surfaces promote increase of cavitiation effects. Upstream of cavitation stage a conical jet nozzle is installed. On the shaft of the rotor several blocks of centrifugal and cavitating wheels can be installed. Design of the converter contributes to its reliability and operational efficiency.
