Method of optimizing the design of integrated magnetic components and integrated magnetic component obtained by said method.; Method of optimizing the design of a magnetic integrated component formed by a plurality of discrete magnetic components, by increasing degrees of freedom of the design of at least a first magnetic component discreet, wherein at least said first discrete magnetic component and second magnetic component discrete share a core and at least one winding of said integrated magnetic component. The method comprises the steps of: choosing a discrete magnetic component forming said integrated magnetic component; obtain an equivalent electrical circuit which reproduces the electrical behavior of said magnetic integrated component so that, in at least a portion of said core, the magnetic flux circulating proceeds substantially only said discrete magnetic component chosen. The method is characterized by the step of: dividing the at least one shared by said discrete magnetic component chosen whose degrees of freedom in design are increased and at least a second magnetic component discrete in at least two sub-windings winding, wherein at least one of said sub-windings is placed in a column of said core in the original winding and wherein at least one of said was sub-windings is placed into a second column of said core by the magnetic flux flowing is should substantially discrete magnetic component chosen whose degrees of design freedom are increased.
