The present invention relates to a memory cassette for a tissue specimen having an RFID tag attached thereto and a method for attaching an RFID tag onto a memory cassette for a tissue specimen, so that when the RFID tag is attached to the memory cassette for a tissue specimen, the RFID tag operates stably even when the memory cassette having the RFID tag attached thereto comes in contact with chemicals or gets submerged in various chemical solutions. According to the present invention, the method for attaching an RFID tag onto a memory cassette for a tissue specimen comprises the following steps: molding a memory cassette for a tissue specimen having an RFID tag insertion groove (112) in the inclined surface (111) of the front surface of a body (110); inserting an RFID tag (130) into the RFID tag insertion groove (112) formed in the inclined surface (111) of the body (110); and attaching a protective cap (114) onto the upper portion of the inclined surface (111) of the body (110) having the RFID tag (130) inserted in the RFID tag insertion groove (112), coupling the protective cap (114) with the inclined surface (111) of the body using ultrasonic welding, and attaching the RFID tag (130) to the body (110) of the memory cassette (100) for a tissue specimen. Accordingly, the RFID tag can operate stably even when the memory cassette for a tissue specimen having the RFID tag attached thereto comes in contact with chemicals or gets submerged in chemical solutions or water.
