Method and device for structuring a solid body surface with a hard coating with a first laser with pulses in the nanosecond field and a second laser with pulses in the pico- or femtosecond field
Structuring at least one area of a solid body surface provided with a hard material coating by means of a laser having pulse durations in the nano- or in the pico- resp. femtosecond range, where by means of a first laser having pulse durations in the nanosecond range, a first structure is produced upon which a second, ripple-shaped structure is superposed by means of a second laser having pulse durations in the pico- or femtosecond range. Independent claims are: (1) a device for implementing the method, comprising a first laser (1) in the nanosecond range as well as a second laser (15) in the picosecond or femtosecond range, the device comprising means (32, 32F) for first placing the surface (9) of the object (10) that is to be structured in the imaging plane of the imaging optics (8) of the first laser beam (2), and then in the focal plane of the focusing optics (8F) of the second laser beam (2F); and (2) packaging foil produced by means of the device, where it has optical diffraction effective areas and/or authentication features comprising at least a first structure produced by an excimer laser according to the mask projection technique and at least a second structure superposed thereon that is produced by a femtosecond or picosecond laser according to the focus technique.
