The accessory (1) has an external case (10) with a currency foolproofing unit having a rotary cylinder positioned in a hole traversing the case from one lateral surface (10A) to another lateral surface (10B). The cylinder has radial surfaces that are perpendicular to longitudinal axis (Y) of rotation of the cylinder and are provided with a male imprint (101) and a female imprint. The shape of the male imprint is adapted to the shape of the female imprint to cooperate the imprints by interlocking. The unit authorizes the limited number of couplings of electric accessories on a switchgear.
