The device has a light-proof housing (10) surrounding a measuring chamber (K), and a highly-sensitive camera (40) arranged in such a manner for viewing the measuring chamber. A vertically extending rotational axis (24) for arrangement of a rotary disk (20) is provided in the measuring chamber, and a viewing direction of the camera is horizontal in an operating condition. A radiating unit provides radiation from top in a direction of a rotary disk position. The unit includes individual elements (70), which respectively carry LEDs. The rotary disk carries a radio frequency identification chip. An independent claim is also included for a measuring system comprising a radiation device.
