PURPOSE: A resolution conversion method for a preview mode and an image sensor using the same for previewing the image detected from an image sensor are provided to no need to perform additional resolution conversion process by supplying images of a display unit.;CONSTITUTION: Resolution information of a display unit is offered to an image sensor(S110). The images having the resolution which resolution is in accord with the information offered from the image sensor to a display unit(S120). The images offered from the image sensor are offered to a user(S130). The images are offered from the image sensor to the display unit. The resolution of the display unit and the resolution of the image sensor is resolved with mutual comparison.
