PURPOSE: A device and a method for generating wind power using an auxiliary ventilation unit is provided to prevent damage to a wind power generator by minimizing the influence of wind using an auxiliary ventilation unit.;CONSTITUTION: A device for generating wind power using an auxiliary ventilation unit comprises a vertical support shaft(10), a horizontal rotational body(20), horizontal support shafts(30), concave blade units(40), a wind speed sensor(50), and air blasting units. The horizontal rotational body powers a generator installed inside the vertical shaft. The horizontal support shafts are horizontally rotated around the vertical support shaft. The concave blade units are installed in the horizontal support shafts. The wind speed sensor is installed in the top end of the horizontal rotational body and senses wind speed.
