PURPOSE: A rack powered electric power steering device is provided to form a fixed projection on a surface, which is closely attached to a rack housing of damper member combined to a retainer, thereby improving the productivity and simplifying the structure while having durability.;CONSTITUTION: A rack powered electric power steering device includes a ball nut(25), a retainer(50) and a damping member(55). The ball nut is mounted inside the rack housing(5) and rotates. The retainer covers a barring(40) and has a projection unit(90) in radial in outer circumference. The damping member is prepared in both sides of shaft direction of the projection unit. In one side of the damping member, a fixed projection(100) is formed. The fixed projection is formed by facing the shaft direction of the damping member. The fixed projection is formed more than one.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
