PURPOSE: A method of controlling the cooling of a coil is provided to enable remaining processes to be automatically performed after performing an operation command in a cooling process since after performing that operation command, an automatic mode is performed.;CONSTITUTION: A method of controlling the cooling of a coil comprises next steps. It is checked whether the performance of an operation command is completed in a manual mode(S40). If yes, an operation mode is automatically switched to an automatic mode(S50). Remaining processes are automatically performed after performing the operation command in a cooling process(S60). The operation command is for supplying the cooling water to a cooling tank. The operation command is for externally discharging the cooing water from the cooling tank. A device for controlling the cooling of a coil comprises a key input, a water-level sensor, a control unit, a water supply valve and a drain valve.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
