PURPOSE: A pre-treatment method for increasing functionality of raw materials of an imitation stone and an apparatus thereof are provided to produce raw materials of an imitation stone with superior functionality within short time, thereby increasing functionality of raw materials of an imitation stone and producing an economical imitation stone.;CONSTITUTION: A pre-treatment method for increasing functionality of raw materials of an imitation stone comprises the following steps. A basket of a mesh structure is inserted into the inside of a reactor, raw materials are inputted to the basket, an ultrasonic wave is irradiated by installing an ultrasonic wave generator on the bottom of the reactor, and nitrogen is inputted from the bottom to expedite reaction in order to remove moisture within short time and make the surface hydrophobic.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
