PURPOSE: A system and a method for guiding cost-efficient driving is provided to provide a driver with an optimum driving condition and to display current traveling and starting information.;CONSTITUTION: A system for guiding cost-efficient driving comprises a traveling history data computing unit(17), a cost-efficient driving information generation unit(19), and a display control unit(21). The traveling history data computing unit computes a traveling history mileage based on computed average speed and the amount of used fuel. The cost-efficient driving information generation unit generates multiple traveling history fuel groups by grouping the computed traveling history mileage. The display control unit displays cost-efficient driving information generated from the cost-efficient driving information generation unit on a display unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
