PURPOSE: A 6-way valve module for a water softener is provided to improve the airtight seal between the upper and lower plates by employing a ring on the upper plate.;CONSTITUTION: A 6-way valve module for a water softener comprises a valve body(320), a ceramic lower plate(330), and a ceramic upper plate(340). A plurality of through holes(321,322,323,324,325,326,327) are formed in the bottom of the valve body. The ceramic lower plate has a plurality of channel holes(331,332,333,334,335,336,337) and is inserted inside the valve body, wherein the channel holes comprise first channel holes located in the center and second channel holes located within a specific radius from the center. A plurality of channel grooves(341,342) are formed in the bottom of the ceramic upper plate and selectively connect the channel holes according to the rotation angle of the ceramic upper plate.
