PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a rear electrode type solar cell is provided to increase light transmitting efficiency by forming a light transmitting water-repellent layer, thereby increasing efficiency of converting solar light into electrical energy.;CONSTITUTION: A thin conductive metal film(20) is formed on a crystalline system silicon wafer(10). Anti-plating partition walls(22) are formed on the thin conductive metal film. A metallic layer(30) is formed in the space(24) between the anti-plating partition walls. The anti-plating partition walls are removed. The crystalline system silicon wafer is exposed by removing the thin conductive metal film.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
