PURPOSE: A cuff type nerve electrode and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reel one side end of a polyimide layer by reeling one side end of the polyimide layer on a metallic bar and removing the polyimide layer. ;CONSTITUTION: A cuff type nerve electrode comprises a polymer supporting film(10), a first electrode pad part(20), and a second electrode pad part(30). The supporting film is made of a flexible polymer material. The first electrode pad part is formed in one side end of the supporting film in order to contact the nerve. The second electrode pad part is formed in the other side end of the supporting film in order to electrically contact an external stimulation controller.
