PURPOSE: A system for monitoring a communication error of an Ethernet-based electric device is provided to reduce unnecessary communication delay of a total power system by informing information of a lower device, which an error occurred, to an upper monitoring panel. ;CONSTITUTION: A master low device transmits a state confirmation frame to a specific low device designated to a salve by generating the frame if it is a set communication confirming period(S2). Whether a response frame is received from the corresponding slave low device or not(S3). If the responding frame is not received from the slave low device, a master low device increases a response frequency of a corresponding low device(S6). If the accumulated frequency of the low device, which response is failed, exceeds a reference frequency by determining whether the accumulated frequency exceeds the set reference frequency or not(S7), a corresponding low device is processed as a communication error(S8).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
