PURPOSE: A rod mounting device for a drilling machine is provided to rotate a rod while gripping an end of the rod to couple and decouple a driving shaft and the rod, thereby maximizing the efficiency of drilling. ;CONSTITUTION: A rod mounting device for a drilling machine comprises a lead(12), a head unit(30), a base member, a rotating member, a clamp unit, and a rod mounting unit(50). The lead is installed in the main body of a drilling machine. The head unit is installed to slide on the lead and has a driving shaft. The base member is installed in a bracket, which is installed under the lead or in a body frame, and allowed to rotate. The rotating member is hinged on one side of the base member and grips and rotates the end of the rod which is connected to or separated from the driving shaft. The clamp unit is installed in the rotating member and clamps the end of the rod. The rod mounting unit is installed in the base member and rotates the rotating member to erect or lay down the rod.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
