PURPOSE: An epoxy-based flooring material composition and a method for constructing a patterned floor using the same are provided to minimize the generation of a slipping phenomenon and a lifting phenomenon by adding an epoxy resin and base powder composed of silica sand and white cement. CONSTITUTION: Base powder is composed of an antifoaming agent, a dispersing agent, a thickening agent, an acrylic powder resin, silica sand, and white cement. An epoxy-based flooring material composition includes the base powder, an epoxy resin, a hardener, and an inorganic pigment. The surface of a floor is cleaned. The moisture rate of the surface is dried. A primer composed of the epoxy resin and the hardener is applied to the surface. The base powder is applied to the surface. A designed pattern is arranged on the surface. The epoxy-based flooring material composition is applied to the surface. A transparent coating agent is applied to the surface.
