System for monitering oil pipeline using piezoelectric sensor

PURPOSE: An oil pipeline monitoring system using a piezoelectric sensor is provided to enable an administrator to monitor the oil in real time by wirelessly communicating with the piezoelectric sensor which senses the surface wave generated by the external shock. CONSTITUTION: An oil pipeline monitoring system comprises a piezoelectric sensor, a wireless data logger, an antenna(300), a data analysis unit(400), an alarm unit and a display unit. The piezoelectric sensor senses the surface wave occurred by vibration in case the vibration is applied to an oil pipeline which is laid underground by the external shock such as electrical drilling and hammering. The piezoelectric sensor is formed on the oil pipeline. The wireless data logger includes a pre-amplifying unit, a main amplifying unit, an A/D converter, a wireless transmitter, a controller and a power supply unit.
