APPARATUS FOR REMOVING SLUDGE ON THE BOTTOM OF A WATER TANK CAPABLE OF REDUCING MAINTENANCE COSTS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing sludge on the bottom of a water tank is provided to increase the staying time of water by lengthening the flow path of a tank which purifies waterworks.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing sludge on the bottom of a water tank comprises a base frame(110), first and second rails(140,150), sludge removal plates(120,130), first and second scrapers(122,133), skirts(121,131), a drive unit, and first and second filtering net. The base frame is formed on the top center of a tank body(11) with a first sludge outlet(14). Second and third sludge outlets(15,16) are formed in both sides of the base frame. The first and second rails are installed in both sides of the base frame. The sludge removal plates are movably connected to the first and second rails. The first and second scrapers scrap sludge on the bottom of the tank body. The skirts prevent the sludge from being exhausted through a gap between the sludge removal plates and the inner wall of the tank body. The drive unit reciprocates the sludge removal plates. The first and second filtering nets filter foreign materials floating in the space of the tank body.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
