It discloses a semi-transmission type liquid crystal display device having a color filter of four colors red, green, blue, and white. A liquid crystal display device of the present invention together with other fluid color as a combination of a colored layer colored into and white at least three colored layer colored each color filter constituting a color pixel, a portion of each colored layer a liquid crystal layer injected between the reflective layer and formed, and the transmitting layer formed corresponding to the remaining partial region of the colored layer, reflection layer and the transparent layer and the corresponding colored layer corresponding to the region. Thus, by controlling the area ratio of the transparent layer and the reflecting layer corresponding to the white colored layer can minimize the difference between transmissive display and reflective display with high brightness of the display effect.
