The device has a mobile, portable control device (1) i.e. mobile telephone, controlling or regulating multiple safety components that are mounted at a passenger car and lorry in a fixed manner. The components are activated and deactivated, during starting and idle condition of the passenger car and lorry. A global positioning navigation system and an alarm system are integrated in a combined device (13). The alarm system directly deactivates the navigation system at a theft location, during an alarm event. The portable control device is controlled in a wireless manner.
