Bacterial nanocellulose comprises a structure consisting of a wide-meshed phase (1) of the bacterial nanocellulose and at least one close-meshed phase (2) of the bacterial nanocellulose firmly connected with wide-meshed phase. Independent claims are included for: (1) use of bacterial nanocellulose, where the bacterial nanocellulose is used without drying after the cultivation- and purification-process as initial-wet implant for cartilage formation; and (2) producing the bacterial nanocellulose, comprising generating the structure in a cultivation step of the cultivation process as a two-phase implant.
