The method involves receiving a biometric image information (3) of a person (2) or an object by a detection device (1), particularly for identification of the person or object. The detected image information, particularly available but not ready as a scanned image information after the detection, is sub-divided into a pattern (3a). The image information is transferred into a data flow directly or after a conversion according to a sequence. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for storing data in a database; and (2) a system for allocating data to an image information, particularly to a biometric image information of a person or an object.
