The thermal conducting insertion element (4) is made of heat conducting ceramic, particularly aluminum nitride, where the thermal connection and electrical insulation of an individual battery cell (8) of battery cell pack (2) is accomplished. The insertion element is provided with an inner material and a coating. An independent claim is also included for a battery cell pack, which has a cooling unit.
