The light (1) has a mounting frame (4) inserted into a section of a gypsum plasterboard (2) e.g. wall lining, and a support frame (5) for holding a translucent sheathing (6) e.g. textile covering, which is coupled with the mounting frame in a detachable manner by a locking device (10). A light box (7) for retaining lighting bodies (8) is provided behind the plasterboard or on the mounting frame in an installation condition of the light.
