The device (10) has linear guide profiles (12, 14) for movably supporting the device, and housing shells (20a, 20b) that are joined to a housing (22). Guiding elements e.g. rollers, are attached at the shells, and are brought in to contact to the linear guide profiles with assembling of the shells. The guiding elements form a linear guide, and a mounting device (50) for a support arm (54) is arranged at the housing. An operating device (60) is attached at the support arm, and a cable input device is attached at the housing.
