The element has a flocking pattern (5) provided with a finished surface. A wood or veneer element and a thermoformed or injection molded polymer element (4') are connected with the surface. An enclosure includes a center console (2), a column (1), a filing and a door. The thermoformed or injection molded polymer element includes a storage recess (6), and the flocking pattern is arranged in a deposition region of the storage recess. An application of a masking is made on the surface by printing i.e. impregnating printing. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a motor vehicle interior space covering element provided with a finished surface.
