The bank note box (1) has a banknote suppression mechanism (2), which is arranged in an opening (111) of the banknote box. A frame base (21) forms a banknote passage (210) in connection between a banknote receiving unit and a receiving chamber (110) of the banknote box. A banknote inlet (211) is provided at a side of the banknote passage. A banknote pusher (24) is operated for pushing a banknote away from the banknote passage of the banknote box main part (11).
