The proportionally adjustable pressure limiting and suction valve arrangement (1) has a pressure limiting valve (4), by which a pressure chamber (22) is connected with a drain (T) and has a pressure limiting piston (12). A pressure limiting valve seat (20) is formed at a valve body of the suction valve arrangement. The valve body is impinged by a system pressure in closing direction and in opening direction of the drain pressure.
