The cleaning pig (1) has a cylindrical base body (10) made of a foamed plastic material, where two groups (20,30,40) of radial cleaning rings (50) are overlapped at its peripheral surface. Each group of cleaning rings is formed in form of a dense superimposed fan-shaped plate pack, which is foamed in the cylindrical base body. The cleaning rings are made of a resilient, high abrasion-resistant solid material, particularly hard rubber, a high wear-resistant polyurethane hot cast elastomer. A polyurethane soft foam is provided as a foamed plastic material.
