The electro-hydraulic drive (10) has a control bush (18) displaced by electromagnetic forces, and a control piston (20). The control bush is arranged co-axial on the control piston in a displaceable manner. The spring units (24,26) push the control bush into a neutral position on the control piston. The spring units on one hand act against the control bush and on other hand against the control piston such that a portion of the force acting on the control bush acts on the control piston by the spring elements.
